Cyberpunk 2077 got patch 2.21, added NVIDIA DLSS 4 and got even more technologically advanced

Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating DLSS 4 technology and numerous bug fixes.

GeForce RTX 50 series users will benefit from DLSS 4, boosting frame rates significantly starting January 30th. This technology also enhances performance on RTX 40 series cards, generating extra frames with reduced memory consumption.

All GeForce RTX cards now offer a choice between the convolutional neural network and the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, detail, and image stability.

This update resolves several issues, including:

  • Interference and crashes related to DLSS ray reconstruction.
  • Incorrect "Frame Creation" parameter updates after disabling resolution scaling.
  • Inability to interact with certain vendors.
  • Missing or low volume TV news audio.
  • Infrequent Johnny Silverhand passenger seat appearances.
  • Item disappearance when hiding nearby NPCs.
  • Game freezes when simultaneously entering photo mode and accessing closets/stashes.

Photo Mode enhancements include the ability to feature Nibbles and Adam Smasher alongside Vee, even when she's in water or mid-air. Adam Smasher's facial expression adjustments have also been refined.
