Mobile game developer Mattel163 has launched the Beyond Colors update for three of its popular card games: Phase 10: World Tour, UNO! Mobile, and Skip-Bo Mobile. This update introduces colorblind-friendly decks, utilizing basic shapes such as squares and triangles to represent traditional card colors. This innovative approach ensures that players with color vision deficiency can easily distinguish between different card colors, enhancing their gaming experience.

The Beyond Colors feature is a significant step towards inclusivity and accessibility in Mattel163's gaming portfolio. Players can activate this feature by tapping their avatar in-game, navigating to account settings, and selecting the Beyond Color deck under the card theme options.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, approximately 300 million people worldwide are affected by colorblindness. By introducing these new deck options, Mattel163 aims to break down barriers and make their games, including UNO! Mobile, accessible to a broader audience.

To create the Beyond Color decks, Mattel163 collaborated with gamers, including those with color blindness, ensuring the symbols are consistent across all three games for ease of use. Mattel has also set an ambitious goal to make 80% of its games portfolio colorblind accessible by 2025.

UNO! Mobile offers the classic card game experience where players race to discard all their cards first. Phase 10: World Tour challenges players to complete phases as quickly as possible, while Skip-Bo Mobile provides a unique twist on the traditional solitaire game.

All three games—UNO! Mobile, Skip-Bo Mobile, and Phase 10: World Tour—are available for download on the App Store and Google Play. For more information on Mattel163 and the Beyond Color update, visit their official website or follow them on Facebook to stay updated with the latest news.
