After a delay earlier this year, the much-anticipated open-world mobile shooter, Grand Outlaws, has finally made its soft launch in the US. Hardbit Studio announced that the game is now available on Google Play, starting from May 15th. While the rest of the world eagerly awaits its turn, US Android users can dive into the action today.
The developers utilized the extra development time to enhance the game significantly. They expanded the locations, improved performance, and added more content, resulting in a richer and more stable gaming experience. This groundwork sets the stage for a full global rollout later this year.
At launch, Grand Outlaws offers three exciting core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. These modes are designed for fast-paced, mobile-friendly gameplay, featuring easy access to weapons, vehicles, and customization options. Players can seamlessly switch between modes or explore the expansive open world at their leisure.
Currently, the soft launch is exclusive to Android, but Hardbit Studio has a comprehensive multi-platform roadmap in place. A full release for Android and the Epic Store is slated for July or August, with iOS and PC versions via Steam and Epic following in October. Console enthusiasts can look forward to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch versions in 2026. Cross-platform play is also in the works, promising a unified gaming experience across devices.
Looking ahead, the studio plans to enrich the game with additional content updates. New modes such as Heists and Destruction Derby, live events, a full cinematic story mode, and enhanced customization options for characters and hideouts are on the horizon. Additionally, brand collaborations and seasonal content drops are expected to keep the game fresh and engaging.
