  • Fallout Shelter celebrates its tenth anniversary this year!
  • Players can log in to receive free Lunchboxes and other special rewards.
  • The Fallout-themed mobile spin-off made a surprise debut back in 2015.

It’s almost hard to believe that a full ten years have passed since Fallout Shelter first arrived on our mobile devices. Launched alongside the upcoming Fallout 4, the game became a standout feature of E3 2015—a detail that certainly places it in a specific era. Now, as this mobile offshoot of the series hits its ten-year milestone, devoted fans are in for a treat with plenty of celebratory rewards.

For anyone (somehow) unfamiliar, Fallout Shelter puts you in charge of one of the iconic underground Vaults from the series’ universe. As most fans know, these shelters were designed by the in‑game corporation Vault‑Tec not so much to save humanity, but to serve as elaborate social experiments.

Your task is straightforward: keep your dwellers fed, hydrated, and content while managing missions like scavenging runs and gradually expanding the Vault. This engaging blend of simulation and strategy has captivated both longtime Fallout enthusiasts and newcomers for years.

ytLunchtime!

To mark Fallout Shelter’s tenth anniversary, Bethesda is offering a 70% discount on Lunchbox purchases through June 17. Additionally, players can log in between June 16–17 to claim double Lunchboxes, one Pet Carrier, and ten Nuka-Cola. From June 18–19, check‑in rewards include three Lunchboxes, one Mr. Handy, and fifteen Nuka-Cola, with the celebration culminating June 20–21 with five Lunchboxes, a Pet Carrier, and twenty Nuka-Cola.

Longtime players will welcome these freebies, but as always, we’re left wondering what’s next for Fallout on mobile—and whether 2025 might bring something fresh and exciting to the platform.
