Attention, Sims enthusiasts! Brace yourselves because the iconic Burglar is making a dramatic return in the latest update for The Sims 4. Whether you're a veteran player or new to the franchise, the reintroduction of Robin Banks adds a thrilling twist to your gameplay experience.

Available now on both PC and console, this update brings back the thrill of nighttime break-ins. Robin Banks, the notorious thief, prefers to sneak into homes under the cover of darkness when your Sims are fast asleep. However, don't let your guard down completely—she's been known to attempt a heist even when Sims are awake. It's essential to stay vigilant!

To protect your virtual household, consider installing a burglar alarm. If Robin triggers it, the police will swiftly arrive to apprehend her and return your stolen items. Even without an alarm, a quick call to the police can save the day. Alternatively, if you're feeling bold, you might opt for some vigilante justice—it's entirely up to you.

"We are so thrilled to finally bring the Burglar back into The Sims universe," The Sims' team announced. "A big thank you to our entire team for making this a reality. Robin Banks isn’t just here to steal your Sims’ possessions—she’s here to steal your hearts too! What better way to celebrate The Sims' 25th Birthday than with this nostalgic yet fresh addition? We hope you’re as excited as we are to see what kind of chaos Robin Banks will bring to your households."

Despite being a decade old, The Sims 4 continues to attract new players. Last year alone, it welcomed over 15 million newcomers. According to EA's Q2 earnings report from late last year, The Sims 4 reached 20 million unique players within its first four years as a premium game. Following its transition to free-to-play in 2022, the game saw an impressive influx of 31 million new players, bringing the total to 85 million as of May 2024. And for those eagerly awaiting the next installment, there are currently no plans for The Sims 5—but the excitement around The Sims 4 remains undimmed.
