A classic card game for three players using a 24-card deck.
The game currently uses the following rules:
- A player needs 880 points to get a barrel
- Points are cleared after 3 unsuccessful attempts to play the barrel
- A player receives a bolt if they score no points in a round
- Accumulating 3 bolts results in a 120-point penalty
- When surrendering, the player receives a penalty equal to the statement amount, while the other two players each receive half of that amount
The game supports these settings:
- Win condition requires exceeding 1000 points
- Points are cleared when reaching 555 or -555 points
- Barrel game can be played on one's own turn without bidding from others (see below)
- New card deal when talon or hand has insufficient points
- Ace marriage
- Golden round
- Combined barrel playing scenarios
Barrel game on "own turn":
A player with 880 points can initiate a barrel round during their "own turn".
A turn is considered "own" when the player has first bidding rights.
In this case, the player automatically wins the bidding and receives the talon (regardless of other players' card strength).
If unsuccessful, the player receives one unsuccessful attempt and a 120-point penalty.
After three unsuccessful attempts, points are cleared.
When a player has a barrel but not their "own turn", normal gameplay continues without points or unsuccessful attempts being recorded.
Multiple players with 880 points can simultaneously qualify for barrel games.
In such cases, the barrel player is determined according to turn order.
