Where To Find SGT. Winter in Fortnite Winterfest 2024

Mariah Carey has arrived in Fortnite, launching the 2024 Winterfest event! To complete the Wintervestigation Quests, you'll need to locate SGT. Winter. Here's how to find him.

SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6

The initial Wintervestigation Quest directs you to SGT. Winter. These Quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and discover new NPCs across the Chapter 6 map.

The Quest marker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location—a snowy mountaintop near a plane crash site, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game concert location.

Talking to SGT. Winter

SGT. Winter, marked by a speech bubble, patrols near the plane wreckage. Interact with him; you can buy items (Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade) or start a conversation.

Select the magnifying glass icon to begin the Wintervestigation dialogue. He'll provide your next mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Completing this conversation awards 25,000 XP.

Surviving the Encounter

Reaching SGT. Winter can be tricky; the area is a popular drop zone. Consider waiting a few days for the crowds to thin. Alternatively, strategically land near a chest for early loot, utilize the plane wreckage for cover, and eliminate opponents. Many players might initially only have pickaxes, giving you a fighting chance.
