Battletoads/Double Dragon, Big Run, and More Arrive!

Prepare for a nostalgic trip! Nintendo is adding four iconic SNES games from the early '90s to the Nintendo Switch Online library. These titles deliver thrilling beat-em-up action, intense racing, clever puzzles, and competitive dodgeball, enriching the growing collection of retro games for subscribers.

Leading the pack is the iconic Battletoads/Double Dragon crossover. This beat-em-up classic unites the Battletoads trio—Zitz, Pimple, and Rash—with Double Dragon’s martial arts brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, to battle the Dark Queen and Shadow Warriors. With five playable characters, it’s a high-energy clash of two legendary franchises.

Originally launched on the NES in June 1993 and later ported to the Super NES in December of the same year, Battletoads/Double Dragon makes its long-awaited return to the Nintendo Switch Online library.

Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zen’in Shūgō!, known as Super Dodgeball in North America and Europe, brings fast-paced dodgeball action featuring Kunio-kun from the River City series. Compete against rival teams worldwide across varied courts, from indoor arenas to beachside fields, each with unique challenges to master.

This dodgeball gem first hit the Super Famicom in August 1993.

For puzzle enthusiasts, Cosmo Gang the Puzzle offers strategic fun reminiscent of Tetris and Puyo Puyo. Clear lines of containers and Cosmos to score points across three modes:
