The Sony Bravia XR X93L, released in March 2023, was the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup at the time, only surpassed by the X95L, which was exclusively available in an 85" screen size in the United States. The X93L boasts Mini LED technology, renowned for its excellence in handling HDR content. Mini LED panels feature smaller, more numerous LEDs, enabling precise control over brightness levels and enhancing black levels and contrast ratios.

This TV is also an excellent choice for gamers. It comes equipped with four HDMI ports, two of which support HDMI 2.1 specifications. HDMI 2.1 allows for 4K output at a 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for current-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The upcoming Switch 2, when docked, will be limited to 60fps in 4K, so HDMI 2.1 isn't necessary for that system.
