Upgrading Switch 1 Games to Switch 2 Edition:

Nintendo has announced the pricing for upgrading two popular Switch 1 games to their Switch 2 editions. While The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will cost $9.99 each, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Super Mario Party Jamboree will cost significantly more. Prices vary between regions, but the UK Nintendo eShop lists Kirby and the Forgotten Land at £16.99 / €19.99.

Physical Switch 2 Games: Game-Key Cards?

Almost all third-party Switch 2 games in Japan are Game-Key Cards, and the trend seems to extend to the Western market. In the U.S., examples include Sega titles like Sonic X Shadow Generations and Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut. Only a few third-party physical Switch 2 games are not Game-Key Cards, including Cyberpunk 2077, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, and No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES Aiba Edition.
