Polytopia

Midjiwan has unleashed a massive update for The Battle of Polytopia: a complete overhaul of the Aquarion Tribe! This update revitalizes the game's first special tribe, originally introduced in 2017.

Aquarion's Aquatic Transformation

The Aquarion receive a dramatic visual and gameplay upgrade. Land units now boast mermaid tails, making them amphibious warriors equally at home in water and (somewhat less effectively) on land. This update introduces flooded terrain, allowing land and naval units to occupy the same space for the first time.

The Aquarion's architecture also gets a watery makeover. Buildings can now be constructed on water, and Lost Cities are hidden within deep-sea ruins, offering ideal strategic bases. A new structure, the Atoll, connects water cities, eliminating the need for roads. Aqua Crops, now a permanent feature, function similarly to land-based crops.

New aquatic creatures add depth to the gameplay. Sharks ambush unsuspecting units, puffers provide long-range bombardment, and jellies deliver electrifying attacks. Returning favorites, the Tridentions and Crabs, also see improvements; Crabs now flood the tiles they cross, synergizing perfectly with the mermaid-tailed troops. See the changes in action:
