What’s Happening in Pokémon GO This May 2025?

The month kicks off with Tapu Fini taking the spotlight in 5-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th. Trainers can look forward to battling this guardian of Melemele Island, complete with its signature move, Nature’s Madness, and the ever-popular Shiny variant.

Starting May 12th, the Lake Trio event begins, rotating regionally to ensure global participation. Trainers in the Asia-Pacific region will face Uxie, while those in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India will encounter Mesprit. Meanwhile, players in the Americas and Greenland will have the chance to challenge Azelf. This regional rollout keeps the excitement fresh and encourages cross-region coordination.
