Persona 5: The Phantom X is Headed West
Western Account's First Official Announcement
Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is expanding its global presence with a new social media account dedicated to its English release. The exact launch date may be revealed during an upcoming livestream. On May 15, P5X Official West announced its first major livestream, scheduled for May 15 at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus's official Western YouTube channel.
Use the timetable below to see when the stream begins in your local time:

The stream will feature special guests from the voice cast, including Kaede Hondo (Motoha Arai) and Chika Anzai (Yui). They will be joined by P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda and Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, as well as Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.
Initially launched in select regions in April 2024, P5X is now rumored for a Western release announcement during the stream. Developers previously hinted at English localization plans during the game's first-anniversary stream. The official account teased, "Japan's release date will certainly be announced... but what about the West? Tune in to find out!"
Japanese Launch Imminent

The upcoming livestream will also provide details on P5X's Japanese release, as mentioned during the first-anniversary celebrations. ATLUS has confirmed a Summer 2025 launch in Japan, with pre-registrations now available on the official Japanese website.
Furthermore, Sega Sammy Holdings noted in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12 that the game is part of their official schedule, targeting a release "in or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), aligning with this summer's launch window.
With the Japanese release on the horizon, a global launch for P5X appears increasingly likely. For the latest updates on Persona 5: The Phantom X, check out our article below.
