After months of speculation, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has finally been confirmed. Bethesda announced via Twitter (X) on April 21 that they will host a dedicated livestream to formally present the remastered edition.

The livestream is scheduled for April 22 at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT / 4 PM BST on Bethesda's official YouTube and Twitch channels. Use the timetable below to determine the exact start time in your region:

Original 2006 Release

Developed by Bethesda Game Studios and co-published by Bethesda Softworks and 2K Games, Oblivion was originally intended as an Xbox 360 launch title for late 2005. Development setbacks postponed the release, with the Xbox 360 and PC versions eventually launching in March 2006.

A mobile version developed by Superscape and published by Vir2L Studios followed in May 2006. The PlayStation 3 edition arrived in North America in March 2007 and reached Europe the following month. Although a PSP version was in development, it was ultimately cancelled. The game has since appeared in various bundled releases, including combinations with Fallout 3 and BioShock.

Last week, leaked images from developer Virtuos' website surfaced online, showcasing promotional artwork for Oblivion alongside screenshots comparing the original game with its upcoming remastered counterpart. Additional details emerged confirming the game's planned release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (with Game Pass availability), and PC.

Rumors suggest a potential Deluxe Edition featuring bonus weapons and the horse armor DLC pack. These reports remain unverified as Bethesda has not issued any official announcements.
