Games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and Mario Party: Jamboree are among those getting these special editions.

Each Nintendo Switch 2 Edition game boasts distinct enhancements. The showcase began with Super Mario Party: Jamboree, which introduces "Jamboree TV," enhancing the experience with mouse controls, audio recognition, more dynamic rumble, and gameplay utilizing a new camera accessory.

These titles will also benefit from the Zelda Notes service on the Nintendo Switch Online app, offering voice guidance to locate Shrines and Koroks, and the ability to share creations in Tears of the Kingdom via QR code.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is set to receive a new story exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2, dubbed Star-Crossed World, along with enhanced graphics and framerates.

Additionally, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends: Z-A are slated for upgraded versions. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will support mouse controls and offer 4K resolution at 60fps with HDR, while Pokemon Legends: Z-A will feature better resolution and framerates.

These upgraded games will be available in both physical and digital formats. Owners of the original versions on the Nintendo Switch can purchase upgrade packs for select titles, including Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Party, and Kirby.
