In the world of Monster Hunter Now, Niantic is rolling out an exciting new feature called Monster Outbreaks for testing. This innovative addition aims to bring players together for intense, cooperative hunting sessions, and Niantic is eager to gather player feedback to refine the feature before its full launch.
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
Mark your calendars! The Monster Outbreaks testing phase will run from April 26th to April 27th. Each day, the event will occur twice: from 10:00 AM to 10:59 AM and again from 3:00 PM to 3:59 PM, according to your local time. During these windows, specific outbreak points on the map will teem with 8-star Black Diablos, and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to team up with other hunters to take down 100 of these formidable creatures at each outbreak location within the one-hour timeframe.
To participate, you must be at least HR 11. Note that the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count toward the goal. Outbreak points will be clearly marked on the map with a special icon. By tapping on these icons, you can view details about the outbreak and even sign up on a roster to coordinate with other players, enhancing your chances of success and earning the exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The challenge is not just about the numbers. If you and three other hunters take down a single Black Diablos, that counts as four toward the 100 needed to meet the goal. Should your group reach the target before the hour ends, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the time.
The rewards for successfully hitting the 100-monster target are enticing: 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster could earn you the special Outbreak Test I Medal.
