Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition: Pre-orders Open (Japan Only), Global Release Pending

To mark Monster Hunter's two-decade milestone, Capcom's acclaimed action-RPG franchise has teamed up with Digimon to release the "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition" V-Pet. This special edition features designs based on the iconic Rathalos and Zinogre, priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD) before any additional fees.

These collectible devices boast a vibrant color LCD screen, utilize UV printing technology, and include a rechargeable battery. They retain the popular features of previous models, including customizable backgrounds. A new "Cold Mode" temporarily suspends monster growth, hunger, and strength, while a backup system safeguards your progress and digital creatures.

Pre-orders are currently open through Bandai's official Japanese online store. Please be aware that these are Japan-exclusive releases, and international shipping may incur extra charges.

Currently, there's no confirmed global release date for the Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition. Demand is incredibly high; the devices reportedly sold out shortly after the announcement. The initial pre-order window closes today, November 1st, at 11:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET).
