- 17 legendary player cards introduced - Select six of them for your roster during the event - Additional Hall of Famers coming in future updates
MLB Rivals recently featured Phillies phenom Bryce Harper as the cover star in its previous update, but that was merely the opening act. This week, Com2uS hits a home run with a groundbreaking partnership with the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, delivering 17 iconic player cards alongside fresh broadcasting commentary from legendary voices.
The newest update for MLB Rivals integrates baseball immortals including Derek Jeter, Greg Maddux, Jack Morris, and Tony Pérez as elite new player cards, each featuring unique abilities, team adaptability, and an innovative Potential mechanic. These Hall of Fame Player Cards offer superior growth potential compared to existing Special Cards, allowing you to assemble historic lineups that transcend eras.
During the event period, players can immediately add one of six Hall of Famers to their collection: Jeter, Maddux, Raines, Sutton, Pérez, or Morris. The cards feature enhanced customization, permitting team reassignment and positional flexibility to mirror each legend's actual career versatility - giving unprecedented freedom in team-building strategies.

Enhancing the immersive experience, the update introduces complete play-by-play narration from Joe Davis alongside color commentary from Cy Young winner Orel Hershiser. Davis, the current voice of the Dodgers and FOX Sports' lead MLB broadcaster, teams with Hershiser to deliver authentic, energetic commentary that replicates a real baseball broadcast.
