High on Life 2 Announced, Coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, Including Game Pass

High on Life 2 has officially been revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, marking the return of Squanch Games’ irreverent, comedy-driven first-person shooter. Set to launch this winter, the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, with day-one access via Xbox Game Pass.

The sequel brings back the vibrant, cartoony shooter action that defined the original, as players once again take up arms—literally, since your weapons talk—on a wild intergalactic adventure. The first installment, released in 2022, received mixed reviews and faced scrutiny over the involvement of co-creator Justin Roiland, yet found strong success through its Game Pass availability. Its popularity even sparked rumors of an animated series in development.
