As shared in their recent X (formerly Twitter) update, Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. Supergiant Games celebrated this milestone, expressing gratitude to fans for their support and indicating that the game is edging closer to its complete release.

Their post states, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades also followed a similar early access path, taking 22 months before its full release. Supergiant aims to bring Hades 2 to full release faster, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Launching First on the Nintendo Switch 2

In a recent episode of Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice series, Supergiant announced that Hades 2 will debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 set to launch on June 5, Hades 2 is expected to be available around that time.
