Mastering Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium: A Comprehensive Progression Guide
New to Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Don't worry, this guide will help you navigate the game and quickly unlock its core features. Your primary goal is to rapidly complete the main story campaign and reach Commander level 30, unlocking PvP and rewarding boss fights.
Rerolling for Optimal Start (F2P)
For free-to-play players, rerolling is highly recommended. Aim for Suomi (rate-up character) and either Qiongjiu or Tololo (standard/beginner's banner). This powerful starting duo will significantly ease early progression.
Prioritize Story Campaign Missions
Focus on clearing story missions to level up your Commander. Ignore side battles initially; concentrate on advancing the main story until you hit a Commander level wall.
Strategic Summoning
Save Collapse Pieces exclusively for rate-up banners. If you missed Suomi, invest all resources in her banner. Otherwise, use standard summon tickets (not Collapse Pieces) on the standard banner to acquire additional SSR characters.
Level Up and Limit Break Your Dolls
Upgrade your Dolls and their weapons in the Fitting Room whenever your Commander levels up. At level 20, you’ll need Stock Bars (obtained through Supply Missions) to break the level limit. Prioritize your main team: Suomi, Qiongjiu/Tololo, Sharkry, and Ksenia (replace Ksenia with Tololo if you have her).
Maximize Event Missions
At level 20, tackle event missions. Complete all Normal missions, then focus on at least one Hard mission daily (three attempts). Use event currency to acquire summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other valuable resources from the event shop.
Leverage Dispatch Room and Affinity
Increase Doll affinity in the Dormitory to unlock Dispatch missions. These provide idle resource gains, Wish Coins (for a separate gacha), and a chance to obtain Perithya. The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and other useful items.
Conquer Boss Fights and Combat Exercises
Focus on Boss Fights (a turn-based scoring mode) and Combat Exercises (PvP). A strong team for Boss Fights includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry. In Combat Exercises, you won't lose points for defensive losses, allowing you to set weak defenses for others to attack while targeting easy opponents for points.
Tackle Hard Mode and Side Battles
After completing Normal mode campaign missions, move onto Hard mode and side battles for additional Collapse Pieces and summon tickets. These don't provide Commander experience but offer valuable resources.
