"Back to the Future

Get ready for a thrilling journey back in time as Zynga introduces a special crossover in Custom Street Racer 2, also known as CSR2, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic film, Back to the Future, directed by Robert Zemeckis in 1985. This exciting collaboration allows you to collect and race the legendary DeLorean Time Machine from the first film, fully drivable within the game, though it doesn't come with any performance boosts or special abilities.

CSR2 Is Taking You Back to the Future

Starting today, CSR2 players can immerse themselves in a full Back to the Future-themed experience. This includes a custom in-game UI inspired by the movie, a brand-new narrative, and multiple events. You can participate in three flash events dedicated to the Time Machine, as well as a community competition. Zynga has promised that this isn't a one-time event; additional themed events will continue to roll out throughout the year.

Currently, CSR2 is also hosting quizzes on their social media platforms, where you can win goodies. Don't miss out—check them out [ttpp].

Sadly, No Free Trips to 1955!

While the game won't let you travel to 1955 like in the movie or even games like Reverse:1999, this CSR2 x Back to the Future collaboration is undoubtedly unique. The excitement of driving the legendary gull-winged DeLorean from the first film is a thrilling experience in itself.

Sam Cooper, Zynga's Vice President of Games, emphasized the uniqueness of this collaboration, calling the Time Machine one of the most recognizable and beloved picture cars in history. He expressed the excitement of allowing players to virtually race this iconic vehicle while celebrating the movie's milestone anniversary.

What are your thoughts on this crossover? Will you be behind the wheel of the DeLorean? You can download Custom Street Racer 2 from the Google Play Store to get your hands on this new car.
