Locating the Storm King

Facing the Storm King requires completing several quests introduced with the Storm Chasers update. This begins by speaking with Kayden to learn the location of the Storm Chaser base camp. From there, you must navigate to and interact with a storm vortex (identified by purple glowing swirls). This initiates a questline culminating in the Storm King encounter.

The final stages involve defeating Raven and powering the Tempest Gateway. After helping the Storm Chasers, Raven's hideout will appear on your map. This battle requires dodging dynamite and melee attacks while using a crossbow.

Defeating the Storm King

With the Tempest Gateway active, the Storm King awaits. This boss fight resembles a raid boss encounter. Target the glowing yellow weak points on his body; he'll become more aggressive after each one is destroyed. Exploit his temporary stuns to unleash powerful melee attacks.

The Storm King employs ranged and melee attacks. A glowing mouth indicates an impending laser blast—dodge left or right. He also summons meteors and throws rocks (their trajectories are predictable). A raised hand signifies an impending ground pound—quickly retreat! Direct hits can quickly eliminate players.

Once all weak points are destroyed, the Storm King's armor breaks, leaving him vulnerable. Maintain your assault, stay aware of his attacks, and claim victory!
