"Fantastic Four: First Steps Introduced in Marvel Contest of Champions Update"

Kabam has launched an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions with the arrival of The Fantastic Four, perfectly timed with the upcoming MCU film First Steps. Alongside a thrilling new trailer, the developers have announced two major additions set to go live on June 4th.

This update introduces the Fantastic FORCE Saga, a fresh storyline that invites players to uncover collectible Research Grants across multiple game modes. These grants can later be exchanged for a powerful 7-Star Mister Fantastic, making him a key target for collectors and strategists alike.

A Month Full of Events and Challenges

Starting June 11th and running through July 9th, the Vaults of Variant side quest will take players deep into Reed Richards’ multiverse experiments. As Reed pushes the boundaries of science and magic, the multiverse begins to fracture—unstable duplicates emerge, threatening chaos. Players will step in to help contain the crisis, facing off against dangerous variants in high-stakes battles.

In addition, Captain Britain returns with a major overhaul—both visually and mechanically. His reimagined abilities and updated look will be available as a 7-Star Champion starting June 4th, offering a fresh playstyle for fans of the hero.

For fans of Marvel Studios’ Ironheart, Kabam is launching a 7-Day Hall of Irons Login Calendar from June 10th to August 1st. Log in daily to claim exclusive rewards, with special offers going live on June 24th—the day the series premieres.

Celebrating Pride Month with The Runaways

June also marks Pride Month, and Marvel Contest of Champions is honoring it with the arrival of two beloved LGBTQ+ Champions: Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean. Nico joins the roster on June 12th, followed by Karolina on June 26th.

From June 1st to June 30th, players can participate in the Runaway Ready solo event. By winning matches in any game mode (excluding Practice), you’ll earn milestone rewards and unlock exclusive Pride-themed profile pictures.
