The Origin of Spider-Woman in Marvel Contest of Champions

Spider-Woman’s story begins with Jessica Drew, a young girl exposed to dangerous levels of uranium near her childhood home. Her father, a brilliant geneticist, took drastic measures to save her life—injecting her with a serum containing spider DNA.

Despite the painful side effects, Jessica survived and eventually emerged stronger, gifted with extraordinary spider-like abilities. These powers led her down the path of becoming the hero known as Spider-Woman. Players can add her to their roster starting April 17th in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC).

But before that, on April 9th, prepare to face off against one of the deadliest champions ever created: Lumatrix. A sleek and calculated assassin forged by the Founders, Lumatrix wields dazzling light-based powers perfect for infiltration and elimination missions.

Storyline Update – Act 9 Chapter 2: Inquisition

The saga continues with Act 9 Chapter 2: Inquisition, where the world faces escalating chaos. Carina suffers severe injuries after a brutal encounter with the Ouroborus forces, while Doctor Doom forms an uneasy alliance with the Fantastic Four. Dark Phoenix Returns – Dark Bounties

Dark Phoenix reappears in the Side Quest mode with Dark Bounties, placing a price on the heads of several Champions. Hunt them down, earn rewards, and test your team’s strength against some of the fiercest fighters in the multiverse.
