Earn Costume Minccino Early with Research Tasks

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, featuring returning costumed Pokémon and the debut of a new one: costumed Minccino and Cinccino! This stylish duo sports rhinestone glasses and adorable bows.

When to Catch Costumed Minccino:

The Fashion Week event, including costumed Minccino and Cinccino, ran from January 10th to 19th, 2025. Costumed Minccino had a shiny variant available during this period, while Cinccino did not.

How to Obtain Costumed Minccino:

Unfortunately, unlike previous events, obtaining costumed Minccino is limited:

• One-Star Raids: Engage in One-Star Raids during the event for a chance to encounter and catch costumed Minccino. Remember, other Pokémon like Shinx and Furfrou also appear in these raids, so multiple attempts may be necessary.

• Paid Timed Research: A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket offered additional rewards, including XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and guaranteed encounters with costumed Minccino.

• Field Research Tasks: While event-themed Pokémon encounters are available through Field Research, Niantic did not specify if costumed Minccino was among them. Free-to-play players may only encounter other costumed Pokémon.

Obtaining Costumed Cinccino:

To get a costumed Cinccino, evolve your costumed Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
