Pikmin Bloom Event Has Big Waves, Tiny Surfboards

Pikmin Bloom fully embraces the summer spirit this July with the upcoming Beach Resort Event. Get ready to encounter new Decor Pikmin, tackle tropical challenges, and discover vibrant seasonal flowers on your daily strolls. Here’s everything you need to know to join the fun.

When does the Beach Resort Event start in Pikmin Bloom?

The event transforms your game into a summery paradise from July 1st through July 31st, 2025. The major attraction is the debut of the exclusive Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin.

You can earn these new additions by completing special Event Challenge missions available all month long. Finishing these tasks also rewards you with random items like Sea Glass and various flower petals.

Plus, when you bloom the Big Flower located at the event stage, you’re guaranteed an extra bonus: a Gold Seedling in addition to the standard rewards.

They’re joined by the returning fan favorites, the Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin. Special missions will let you collect Sea Glass, which you can use to unlock event-themed Mii costumes and Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin seedlings.

There are several ways to collect Sea Glass during the event. You can earn it by planting flowers, defeating Seafoam Mushrooms, opening Mystery Boxes, or by purchasing the Event Premium Pass or Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.

Seafoam Mushrooms are unique to this event. Defeating them drops Mystery Boxes containing valuable items, including Sea Glass and other helpful rewards. For these battles, your most effective Pikmin will be the Surfboard Keychain and Ice Cream: Classic Decor varieties.

Alongside the event, July’s big flower forecast has arrived. Birds of paradise are making their first appearance as the flower of the month, with white, red, and yellow varieties debuting in Pikmin Bloom.

Throughout July, planting red, yellow, white, or blue petals near Big Flowers can cause them to bloom into lilies, frangipanis, peonies, water lilies, irises, or birds of paradise. Similarly, fruits gathered from defeated mushrooms will provide regular, lily, frangipani, peony, water lily, iris, or bird of paradise nectar.
