Battlefield Test Begins with Select Players

EA unveils Battlefield Labs, a closed beta testing program for upcoming Battlefield titles. This internal test offers select players early access to core gameplay mechanics and concepts, some of which may not appear in the final game. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be available in the initial testing phases. Early testing will prioritize combat and destruction mechanics, followed by balance adjustments.

Pre-registration is open for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A limited number of players (a few thousand) will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with plans for broader regional expansion later.

The new Battlefield game is reportedly in a crucial development phase, though no release date has been announced. Development is a collaborative effort between four studios: DICE, Motive Studios, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect Studios.
