Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squad Launches for Android

Bandai Namco has launched Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra across a wide range of platforms. The game is now accessible on Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. This marks the first free-to-play Dragon Ball game entirely focused on team-based combat.

What are the key features of Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra?

This is a 4vs4 real-time strategy experience. At launch, the character roster includes 22 fighters, with 5 new additions complementing the 17 previously announced. The diversity is impressive, with each character offering a unique set of abilities.

Perfect Form Cell excels by absorbing enemy Bioenergy, striking from behind to weaken his opponents. Android 17 specializes in defense, protecting allies with barriers and maintaining the fight with unlimited stamina.

The assassin Hit employs precise strikes and his Fear of Death skill to approach enemies undetected and deliver quick, decisive blows. Super Saiyan Kale in her berserk state overwhelms foes with uncontrollable rage.

Meanwhile, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 introduce a coordinated tag-team style. They seamlessly transition between handling chaotic group fights and intense one-on-one duels, complete with a signature Special Pose. For detailed information on all characters, visit the official website.

Each fighter is assigned one of three distinct roles. Damage dealers concentrate on applying relentless offensive pressure. Tanks absorb incoming damage while securing key positions. Finally, technical heroes offer versatile support through buffs and tactical disruptions.

You can experiment with different combinations to build squads that effectively balance aggression, defense, and strategic depth. In-match progression allows characters to power up during battles, unlocking new abilities as the fight progresses.
