There’s been an overwhelming wave of content revealed during this year’s Warhammer Skulls 2025 event. The showcase delivered a flood of new games, DLCs, and major updates spanning the entire Warhammer universe. For mobile gamers, the spotlight shines on two major additions: the Adeptus Custodes arriving in Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, and the Emperor’s Children descending into Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is expanding its Imperium roster with the arrival of the Adeptus Custodes—the Emperor’s elite personal guard. The Adeptus Custodes will make their debut in a brand-new Legendary Survival Event launching on May 24th. Unleash the Emperor’s Children in Warpforge
Meanwhile, Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge takes a darker turn with the arrival of the Emperor’s Children—once noble Space Marines, now corrupted champions of Slaanesh. After turning traitor during the Horus Heresy, they embrace excess, agony, and the thrill of pushing every limit.

This new faction introduces three compelling warlords. Lord Kaphrael commands the Callous Blades, specializing in eliminating enemy champions. Xarahan thrives on arrogance and dominance, while Lucius the Eternal brings unmatched dueling prowess forged over centuries of combat.

The gameplay mechanics reflect their twisted nature. Cards marked with Ecstasy trigger powerful effects when their health drops to a critical threshold. Cruelty rewards players for wounding enemies without finishing them off. Stimulation activates when a unit is targeted by a stratagem, and Combat Elixirs generate additional stratagems to fuel the chaos.
