May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Revealed

Sony has unveiled the exciting lineup of games set to join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, offering a diverse range of titles for Extra and Premium subscribers. Announced via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, the new additions promise to enhance the gaming experience for fans across various genres and gaming eras, with all titles set to be available starting May 20, 2025.

For PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers, the catalog is expanding with nine new titles. Leading the pack is Sand Land, an action RPG based on the beloved manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter has just been announced to receive an enhanced version for PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, also launching on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will get the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Premium members are in for a treat with the addition of the classic title Battle Engine Aquila, available on both PS4 and PS5. This sci-fi action game lets players command a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat.
