CPU-Z

CPU-Z is a powerful and free application designed for Android users who want to dive deep into the specifics of their device. This tool, an extension of the well-known CPU identification software for PCs, provides comprehensive insights into your Android's hardware components.

With CPU-Z, you can access detailed information about your device's:

• SoC (System On Chip) including the name, architecture, and clock speed for each core;
• System specifics such as device brand, model, screen resolution, RAM, and storage capacity;
• Battery details including level, status, temperature, and capacity;
• Available sensors on your device.

To use CPU-Z, your Android device needs to be running version 2.2 or above, and you must have at least version 1.03 of the app installed. The app requires the INTERNET permission to facilitate the online validation process, and the ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission for gathering statistics.

For those interested in the online validation feature (available from version 1.04 onwards), CPU-Z allows you to store your device's hardware specifications in a database. Post-validation, the app will open your validation URL in your default web browser. Optionally, you can provide your email address to receive a reminder link via email.

If the app encounters an abnormal closure due to a bug, the settings screen will appear at the next launch (from version 1.03 onwards). This screen lets you disable certain detection features to ensure smoother operation. In the event of any issues, you can select "Send Debug Infos" from the app menu to email a bug report for further assistance.
