Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

Author: Brooklyn May 01,2025

With the latest update on March 10, *Fields of Mistria* players can now venture to unlock the Fire Seal, an exciting new feature that becomes accessible after you've cleared the preceding altars. To break the seal, you must gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, an Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to collect these items and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem, a rare artifact, is hidden within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated, then navigate through the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. To unearth this treasure, use your pickaxe or shovel on the marked spots on the ground. Be prepared for a bit of a grind, as the Faceted Rock Gem isn't easy to come by.

Rockroot, a common forageable, can be found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're a regular miner, you might already have this item in your inventory. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. You'll only need one to satisfy the Priestess' altar requirements.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are the easiest of the required items to obtain. You can find Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 in the mines, and they're quite common. If you haven't stored any, a quick mining session should suffice. Alternatively, you can break large boulders around Mistria to find them, or purchase them at Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, crafting them is another efficient option.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll is the final piece needed to unlock the Fire Seal. This item is part of a quest that starts after you meet Juniper and discover the seal. You'll need to enlist Balor's help to acquire the scroll, but it won't come free. To obtain the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:

  • x10 Silver Ingots
  • x10 Rubies
  • x10 Sapphires
  • x10 Emeralds

If you're short on any of these, the mines are a good place to search. Once you've gathered the required items, deposit them in the bin by Balor's Wagon to secure your Sealing Scroll.

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your possession, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and further adventures in *Fields of Mistria* during its Early Access phase.
