The Battle of Polytopia World Championship Offers $10,000 Prize

Midjiwan, the indie developer of The Battle of Polytopia, has announced a 2025 World Championship set for this fall. The studio is organizing this major competitive event and extending an open invitation to the global player base.

A Huge Global Event!

The Polytopia World Championship tournament is themed around a "Battle of the Tribes." Competitors can select from any of the game's 12 distinct tribes, each offering unique regional traits and strategic benefits that mirror the core gameplay.

The path to the finals begins with open online qualifiers, allowing players of all skill levels to compete. Top performers will advance to tribe-focused playoffs and elimination rounds. The final stage will see the top six contestants earning a spot at the live finals in Stockholm on December 6th.

This in-person finale will be streamed globally, so fans worldwide can watch the action and gain exclusive insights into the Midjiwan studio, even if they don't qualify.

All matches will be hosted on the Polytopia Official Space within the Challengermode esports platform. The competition begins in September, with qualifiers starting on the 13th.

With a $10,000 prize pool, this championship marks the largest official tournament in The Battle of Polytopia's nine-year history. Visit the event's official page for full details on how to register and participate.
