UFO-Man: A Physics-Based Puzzle Game Launching on Steam and iOS
Indie developer Dyglone has revealed their upcoming physics-based puzzle game, UFO-Man, slated for release on Steam and iOS in mid-2024. The deceptively simple objective: transport a box using your UFO's tractor beam. However, the execution is far from straightforward.
Players will navigate treacherous landscapes, precarious platforms, and dodge speeding vehicles, all while keeping their cargo secure. The unforgiving difficulty, compounded by the absence of checkpoints (dropping the box means restarting the level), will undoubtedly test players' patience. Thankfully, the calming soundtrack and charming low-poly visuals offer a degree of respite.
Inspired by the Japanese bar game "Iraira-bou," UFO-Man introduces a "Crash Count" feature to track failed attempts. Minimizing crashes becomes a secondary objective, adding a layer of replayability and competition.
