Conquer Kupolovrax in Project Tower: A Comprehensive Guide
Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a significant challenge due to its projectile-based attacks. This guide outlines effective strategies to overcome this enemy. While targeting the illuminated segments seems intuitive, attacks hitting the carapace also inflict damage.
Phase 1
In the initial phase, Kupolovrax remains grounded. Maintain distance, consistently fire, and employ these evasion techniques:
- Orb Ring Fall: Dodge roll just before the descending orb rings impact. Look upwards to anticipate their trajectory.
- Orb Scattershot Fall: Strafe to sidestep the scattered orbs; dodge roll if a direct hit is imminent.
- Orb Line Push: This attack is the most demanding. A recommended approach is to wait for the first line, perform a forward dodge roll, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, strafing through gaps is viable.
- Stomp: Jump over the shockwave generated by Kupolovrax's stomp. Continue firing while airborne.
Phase 2
Kupolovrax takes flight at approximately 66% health. Continue maintaining distance and firing, utilizing these avoidance maneuvers:
- Orb Scattershot Fall: The slow descent of the orbs allows for easy evasion by strafing and observing their fall pattern.
- Orb Ring Push: Hold your position until the rings are about to hit, then dodge roll left or right.
- Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1, wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right, then dash in the opposite direction.
Phase 3
Triggered at around 33% health, Phase 3 resembles Phase 2, but includes a modified attack:
- Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, followed by two rapid ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Dodge roll left just before the initial rings, immediately dash right to evade the quick pushes, and walk forward to avoid the falling rings.
Project Tower is available on PC and PS5.
