Seedsow Lullaby, a new visual novel developed by the renowned Japanese studio Aniplex, is now available globally on Android. Known for their work on other visual novels like Adabana Odd Tales, Aniplex presents a unique time-bending narrative that spans three generations of a single family.
Seedsow Lullaby Is Definitely Emotional
The core theme of Seedsow Lullaby revolves around the significance of family. The story follows Misuzu, a 16-year-old girl who tragically lost her mother at a young age. The narrative kicks off in 2023 when a girl claiming to be her mother, Yoko, who is also 16 and has traveled from 1996, suddenly appears. Yoko informs Misuzu that they have been chosen to participate in the Seedsow Ceremony, a ritual aimed at preventing True Winter, an evil spirit, from taking over the gods' realm.
The plot thickens as Misuzu finds herself transported to 2050, where she meets her own daughter, Tsumugi, who is likewise 16 years old. Accompanying them is Hiruko, a boy who asserts he is Yoko’s miscarried son and Misuzu’s unborn brother. The trio must conduct the Seedsow Ceremony in the Eternal Realm, a stunning domain of the gods characterized by its vibrant landscapes. This encapsulates the essence of Seedsow Lullaby.
The Game Is More Like a Japanese Animated Movie
What truly stands out in Seedsow Lullaby is its compelling story and exquisite art. The game's visual elements and the diverse settings enhance the feeling of embarking on a journey, reminiscent of high-quality Japanese animations. Despite being a visual novel, it does not feature choices or branching paths, ensuring a linear yet emotionally rich experience.
Currently, Seedsow Lullaby supports English, Japanese, and simplified Chinese languages. It is available for free on the Google Play Store, making it an accessible and must-try experience for fans of visual novels and compelling narratives.
