The Tour Pass is freely distributed to all players starting February 24 at 10 AM local time when the event kicks off. Alongside the free version, there's a paid option called Tour Pass Deluxe, priced at $14.99 USD or its local equivalent. The Deluxe version offers an immediate encounter with Victini, along with enhanced rewards and accelerated progression through the Tour Pass levels.

How Do You Earn Tour Points & What Do They Do?

Tour Points are accrued through familiar in-game activities such as catching Pokemon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs, reminiscent of the research tasks players have engaged with over the years. Additionally, players can complete daily Pass Tasks to earn more points, which refresh each day during the GO Tour event.

Accumulating these Tour Points not only allows players to unlock various rewards, such as Pokemon encounters, candy, and Poke Balls, but also advances them through the Tour Pass tiers. Advancing through these tiers increases your rank and enhances the Catch XP bonus during *Pokemon GO* Tour: Unova. The bonuses are structured as follows:

• 1.5× Catch XP upon reaching Tier 2
• 2× Catch XP upon reaching Tier 3
• 3× Catch XP upon reaching Tier 4

This one-time-use item has a magical effect: it can instantly transform one of your friends into a Lucky Friend, allowing you to trade with them and obtain a Lucky Pokemon without needing to be Best Friends. However, to use it, you must be at least Great Friends with the chosen player. Keep in mind, Lucky Trinkets earned during GO Tour: Unova expire on March 9, 2025, making them a limited-time opportunity.
