We Are Muesli Launches Mobile Game

Independent studio We Are Muesli has unveiled its latest narrative-driven title, In Their Shoes, slated for a 2026 launch on mobile and PC. The project has already garnered a nomination at the ‘A MAZE. 2025’ independent and arthouse game awards in Berlin.

In Their Shoes: A Narrative Experience Focused on Listening

Set in modern-day Milan, a city brimming with contrasts, the game invites players to step into the lives of seven distinct characters. Through 49 brief interactive scenarios, referred to as Moments, you gain insight into pivotal points in their daily experiences.

Each Moment immerses you in a character's uncertainties, daily habits, and snap judgments. Some unfold at a contemplative pace, allowing you to absorb their inner reflections. Others demand quick reactions, echoing the urgency of certain real-world situations.

The narrative structure of In Their Shoes deliberately avoids conventional neatness. While connecting these fragmented stories, you will reveal 26 concealed biographical elements for every character. This approach delivers a genuine slice-of-life portrayal.

Although a Play Store listing is not yet available, the Steam page is live. You can view a preview of the game below.
