Daphne Launches New Wizardry Campaigns, Legendary Adventurer

Wizardry Variants Daphne revitalizes the iconic Wizardry series, the franchise that defined first-person dungeon crawling and helped spark a fantasy revival in Japan. It’s no wonder developer Drecom Co. was keen to bring this experience to mobile. Now, just in time for summer, players can dive into a suite of new campaigns and welcome a brand-new legendary adventurer.

This time, the spotlight is on Aldric the Crow Master of Fortune. Breaking from the typical dwarf archetype, Aldric isn’t a blunt "hit first, think later" warrior. Instead, he excels in rogue-like skills and trap evasion.

Aldric’s abilities let him unleash a low-damage, high-accuracy strike that subsequently boosts his evasion. His crow companion will also counterattack whenever he takes damage. Meanwhile, he steadily enhances his Detect, Evade Trap, Disarm Trap, and Trapophobia Tolerance traits, making him capable of navigating all but the most trap-infested corridors.

Aldric will be obtainable through the limited-time events "Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune" and "Remains of the Crow Handler Who Took Revenge on a Cult," running until July 9th. His gear—the Raven Dagger, Sooty Cloth, and Old Perch—can be drawn from the bonus event "Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune (with bonus)."

Also watch for the newly added legendary quest, accessible to players who have Yekaterina in their party, which debuts with this update.
