Capcom has revealed initial details about Monster Hunter Wilds' first significant patch, scheduled for early April. Despite the massive debut of Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom outlined Title Update 1 in a Steam post. The company mentioned that the patch, arriving just over a month after the game's release, would allow hunters ample time to prepare for the fresh content and challenges ahead.
Title Update 1 introduces a heightened level of difficulty, urging hunters to gear up and brace themselves. Capcom stated that this update will feature a monster stronger than Tempered, along with a new challenging creature. Additionally, the update will introduce an endgame hub where hunters can gather, interact, and dine together.
This new area will be accessible to those who complete the main storyline, encouraging players to dive into the game. Early feedback on this addition has been varied, with some appreciating the feature while others question its absence at launch. Resembling a Gathering Hub from previous Monster Hunter titles, this space aims to fulfill the social aspect currently missing in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Capcom shared several images showcasing this new gathering location:
