Capcom has officially announced that Monster Hunter Wilds' Title Update 1 will launch on Thursday, April 3, Pacific Time, and April 4, UK time. In their latest showcase video, Capcom not only confirmed the release date but also detailed what players can look forward to with this major post-launch update.

The standout feature of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social space designed for player interaction. Here, players can enjoy a new mini-game called Barrel Bowling and experience live performances by the Diva at night. This update also introduces the Mizutsune, a leviathan monster known for its dangerous bubbles, alongside a Zoh Shia quest. Fans can also anticipate the arrival of Arch-tempered Rey Dau through a special event quest at a later date.

Competitive players will be thrilled with the addition of Arena Quests, where players can vie for the fastest completion times. Title Update 1 brings free content to all players, including classic gestures from the series. Alongside this, Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will be available, adding a fresh layer of customization to the game.

Looking ahead, Monster Hunter Wilds will feature a collaboration with an unannounced Capcom game at the end of May. Capcom has also teased the release of a second title update in the summer, which will introduce a new monster to the game's roster.

While PC gamers were hoping for news on performance enhancements following some issues at launch, the showcase did not address this topic. However, with the game's strong launch numbers, Capcom is setting the pace for future updates and content.
