Victoria Hand Deck Synergies Explained
- Victoria Hand boosts the Power of cards generated in your hand.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl are your card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also facilitate duplication of key cards for added buffs or disruptive plays.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards, allowing for more efficient deployment.
- The Collector's Power increases with each generated card.
- Cosmo serves as a tech card, protecting the Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand lane from many enemy attacks.
- Devil Dinosaur is your primary win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or when you have numerous generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or those that change locations. Whether this is a bug or intended functionality remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when utilizing Victoria Hand decks.
Mastering Victoria Hand Gameplay
Successful Victoria Hand deck play hinges on these strategies:
- Energy Management: Balance card generation with Energy expenditure. A full hand maximizes Devil Dinosaur's potential, but sufficient space for card generation and leveraging Victoria Hand's effect is crucial. Efficient Energy use is paramount; sometimes skipping a turn to maintain a full hand is more beneficial than filling the board.
- Strategic Deception: Utilize unexpected card plays to confuse your opponent and mask your intentions. Victoria Hand decks generate random cards; deploying these strategically can mislead your opponent and keep them guessing.
- Ongoing Lane Protection: Opponents frequently target the Victoria Hand lane with tech cards like Enchantress. Counter this by playing Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand in the same lane (creating an Ongoing synergy) and shielding them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Strategy for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand is also proving effective in refined discard decks. A strong discard deck includes: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.

Effective Counters to Victoria Hand
Super Skrull is currently an excellent counter to Victoria Hand. Many players use Doctor Doom 2099 decks, which Skrull synergizes with, making him a versatile tech card against both Victoria Hand and Doom 2099 lineups.
Additional counters include Shadow King and Enchantress. Shadow King negates Victoria Hand's buffs in a single lane, while Enchantress completely disables her Ongoing effect. Valkyrie, strategically played in a critical enemy lane, can disrupt their Power distribution.
Is Victoria Hand a Valuable Acquisition?
Victoria Hand is a worthwhile addition to any player's collection. Regardless of acquisition method (Spotlight Cache or Tokens), she offers a strong return on investment. Although somewhat reliant on RNG, her permanent buffs facilitate consistent deck building. Her compatibility with multiple archetypes—card-generation and discard—makes her a valuable asset for many players.
