Lovecraftian Point-and-Click Adventure My Father Lied Slated for Android Release

In a world brimming with video games, finding a truly unique experience can be a challenge. My Father Lied, however, stands out with its captivating narrative and intriguing blend of mystery and Lovecraftian elements. This puzzle adventure game boasts a compelling story, making it a standout title.

My Father Lied: An Indie Developer's Vision

The game's creation story is as fascinating as the game itself. Ahmed Alameen, the developer, initially pursued writing and filmmaking. A collaborative game project with a college friend fell through, but the story remained. Alameen, driven by his vision, independently learned 3D modeling and Unreal Engine, ultimately bringing his concept to life. Even the game's title was a collaborative effort with his wife.

Unraveling the Mystery

My Father Lied plunges players into a captivating mystery steeped in ancient Mesopotamian myths, secrets, puzzles, and unexpected twists. Players assume the role of Huda, a young woman grappling with a twenty-year-old question: What happened to her father? The answer, as the story unfolds, is far from straightforward.

Blending 7,000 years of Mesopotamian culture with modern storytelling, My Father Lied offers a unique narrative experience. The gameplay features simple point-and-click mechanics, beautiful 2D visuals, and immersive 360-degree images.
