Your journey with Rompopolo begins in Chapter 2, during Mission 2-1: Toward Fervent Fields. Upon reaching the Oilwell Basin region on your way to Azuz City, Rompopolo will make its grand entrance. Defeating it is crucial to progress further in the game.

Once you've successfully defeated Rompopolo, its entry will be added to your Large Monster Field Guide. You can then engage with it repeatedly either by roaming the Oilwell Basin or by starting the "Oilwell Basin Blast" Optional Quest from your Tent.
