Gothic 1 Remake Demo Now Available on Steam

To celebrate the release of the "Nyras Prologue" demo for the Gothic 1 Remake, THQ Nordic and Alkimia Interactive have unveiled an exciting new trailer. In a refreshing twist from the original Gothic, players now step into the shoes of a prisoner named Nyras, yet the core objective remains unchanged: to survive within the game's unforgiving environment.

The demo, launched during the Steam Next Fest event, has shattered records for concurrent players within the Gothic series, as evidenced by the impressive statistics from SteamDB:

The showcased segment of the remake features enhanced graphics, refined animations, and an overhauled combat system, all powered by the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5.
