Machine Yearning: A Brain-Teasing Robot Job Simulation Launching September 12th

This isn't your average human job; it's a mind-bending challenge from Tiny Little Keys' debut game, Machine Yearning. Players step into the shoes of robots, aiming to prove their human superiority in a robotic world.

Tiny Little Keys, an American studio founded by former Google Machine Learning Engineer Daniel Ellis, is crafting intriguing games. Machine Yearning, set for release on September 12th, is their first.

What is Machine Yearning?

Machine Yearning tasks players with a job typically reserved for robots: outsmarting a CAPTCHA system designed to identify humans. The game aims to test memory and processing speed, challenging players to a 2005-era computational benchmark.

Gameplay starts with linking words to shapes. As the game progresses, the difficulty increases, adding more words, colors, and complexity to the word-shape associations, demanding players retain the connections.

Successfully completing the game allows players to customize their robots with various hats—archer hats, cowboy hats, straw hats, and more. See a preview below:

Will You Play?

Initially showcased at Ludum Dare, a renowned indie game jam, Machine Yearning won awards for "most fun" and "most innovative." For more information, visit the official website.

Machine Yearning launches September 12th on Android and is free-to-play. While it might not actually transform your brain into a supercomputer (just kidding!), it promises a challenging and entertaining experience. Check out our other news for more gaming updates.
