Netflix has released a teaser trailer that captures the signature visual intensity of *Love, Death + Robots*, packed with bizarre and compelling concepts. In just one minute of footage, we caught glimpses of:
- An intense space battle or cosmic catastrophe
- A rock band made entirely of puppets
- The previously mentioned adult toy—this time brought to life with unsettling oversized eyes using claymation
- A priest strolling along a beach alongside an alien (with tentacles)
- A tormented, possibly bionic woman and her adorable fuzzy companion
- Babies—but not cute ones. Think massive, menacing infants
- Brutal dinosaur-on-dinosaur combat
- An alien invasion depicted through miniature models
Tim Miller, the director behind *Deadpool*, and David Fincher, known for *Seven* and *The Social Network*, return as executive producers for the series. Supervising director Jennifer Yuh Nelson—renowned for her work on *Kung Fu Panda 2* and *Shrek Forever After*—also returns to lead the creative team.
“If the legacy of *Love, Death + Robots* is that it inspired a handful of people—maybe fifteen—to become directors, animators, motion capture performers, or voice actors in the years to come, that’s all I care about,” Fincher shared in a 2022 interview with Collider.
“This show was never going to buy you a Gulf Stream jet. You’re either here because you love it, or you’re not here at all. We’re just hoping to spend more of our lives doing what we love—even if it’s in relative obscurity.”
