Dark Dome Launches New Mystery Game

Dark Dome's ninth game has arrived. Following a series of escape and mystery titles such as The Girl in the Window, Beyond the Room, and Escape from the Shadows, the developer presents another gripping mystery. Hidden Memories pulls you directly into a tense and disorienting world.

The game launched on Android shortly after its announcement in late March. It retains Dark Dome's signature point-and-click escape room format, but introduces a stronger psychological element this time. You'll also spot some familiar cameos from across the Dark Dome universe.

It's Lucian's Hidden Memories

Lucian awakens with no memory, in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by puzzles he can't comprehend. Your goal is to piece together a mind fractured by something much darker than mere amnesia.

As Lucian revisits the events of the forgotten night, his memories gradually resurface in fragments. In these flashes, one girl keeps appearing. She could be the key to his escape—or the very reason he's trapped.

The story unfolds in Hidden Town, a labyrinth of guilt, secrets, and surreal encounters. If you've played any of Dark Dome's previous games, you'll recognize the setting instantly.

Gameplay emphasizes exploration and deduction. Tap to search, combine items, and solve puzzles—though some solutions are far from straightforward. For example, a firework rocket becomes significantly more useful after being wrapped with adhesive tape. A brush dipped in ink, paired with a tiny foosball table ball, can be fashioned into a makeshift artificial eye.

There are haunting side challenges

Throughout your journey, you're tasked with finding 10 hidden shadows. These spectral figures only appear if you're carefully observing the background scenery.

You'll also discover voodoo dolls scattered along your path. Each one binds a soul that hasn't yet moved on. By interacting with them, you unlock short mini-games that reveal their final moments and hidden secrets. Sometimes, helping these spirits find peace simply means witnessing their stories. Other times, you must resolve an unfinished task they left behind.

The game is filled with references to earlier Dark Dome titles. Delian, a familiar character, makes a return appearance. Dr. Freyer's face appears on an ID card. You'll also recognize the four-armed statue originally seen in the catacombs of Escape from the Shadows. Even the medallion obtained after solving the picture puzzle is a deliberate callback to Nowhere House.
