Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for the next Arknights: Endfield beta test, launching mid-January 2025! This new phase builds upon previous feedback, introducing significant gameplay enhancements and new content. As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25th, 2024, the beta will feature expanded gameplay and a larger roster of playable characters.

Key Updates for the January Beta:

• Expanded Roster: The playable character count increases to 15, including two Endministrators, each boasting updated models, animations, and special effects.
• Enhanced Combat: Experience refined combat mechanics based on player feedback. This includes new combo skills and the introduction of a dodge mechanic. Item usage and character progression systems have also been adjusted for a more rewarding experience.
• Base Building Overhaul: The base building system receives a significant upgrade with new mechanics and tutorial levels. Expect new defensive structures and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts in various locations.
• Story and Map Expansion: A reworked storyline, new maps, and engaging puzzles await players in this expanded beta.
• Language Options: Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Beta Test Sign-Up:

Registration opened on December 14th, 2024. While the application deadline and beta test start date are yet to be announced, selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1:

Alongside the beta announcement, Arknights: Endfield launched its Content Creator Program Vol. 1. Selected creators gain access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events. The program accepts applications in two categories: gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, art, cosplay, etc.). Applications were open from December 15th to 29th, 2024. While meeting the requirements doesn't guarantee selection, GRYPHLINE retains the final decision on participant selection.
